Waking Up with The Yoga of Sleep is the essential first course and sets up the essential "what and why" of Yoga Nidra. This course, Facilitating Yoga Nidra with the Yoga of Sleep builds upon the previous course and gives the essential tools and mechanics for all those who wish to truly dive deep into this transformational practice.

This course is designed to give you the tools and format to be able to find your own voice in this practice and to share it with the world in a way that makes a true impact.

Course Details


All of the different recordings/practices will be either embedded into the individual module or will be located in the Resources Section. Please take a moment and locate and explore the Resources Section, the bottom-most section of this course. You'll find helpful resources such as:

  • All the Yoga Nidra practices that will be assigned to you as well as others that are for your benefit.
  • Mantras, pranayama and mindfulness exercises
  • PDFs
  • Gentle yoga classes

Except for some specific practices, and resources, most of these materials in the Resources Section are also located in the first course, Waking Up with the Yoga of Sleep. I've included them in this course for your ease and convenience.

Each learning module is split up into video lessons and practices, usually to be done before and after the video lesson. You can play the videos, listen to the Yoga Nidra practices, and read the PDFs as well as look at any links directly from this page. Most of these lessons, practices and materials are also available to download so that you can watch/listen/read, even if you're offline.

You may see that in the bottom right corner of the video, you can expand the video to fill up the entire screen. You may even speed up or slow down the video if you wish.

This course also works great on mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets.

Practice

Before watching the video, start by first listening to and practicing the:

Then, briefly journal about your experience.

Also, locate the Resources module which contains all the Yoga Nidra practices, PDFs, breathing exercises, and many other resources.

Complete the A–B test. Like in the first course, you are not supposed to know all the questions on this test—it's mostly to preview all the awesome stuff you will learn this course. So, just have fun with it. Remember that success is just getting it done. You'll love doing this test at the end of the course to see all the amazing things you've learned during the course.
